A division of customer RIoT, GroPoint is not quite a startup—the company had been existence for several years before going dormant due to financial issues and being acquired by RIoT. We were hired to rebrand the company, build a new eCommerce website, create video content, develop print collateral and product package designs. We operated as the in-house marketing team from 2017 to 2018.
We created product brochures, primarily for use at tradeshows, for all soil monitoring products.
The GroPoint website offered customers a full eCommerce store and self-service help centre including knowledge base, support ticketing system and auto-generating RMAs. It interactively demonstrated how GroPoint's products worked and illustrated the unique benefits.
The product page for the Gropoint Profile—the most important product in their lineup—demonstrated how to deploy the soil sensor using a unique "slide hammer" tool. This provides a key product benefit—no soil is disturbed around the sensor, for better accuracy.
The product catalog, available in print and digital formats, was a key piece of sales collateral.
We designed a new UI for for an app used to connect to a datalogger through Bluetooth.
